IPA Pre-pack Forum
Following The Insolvency Service issuing a consultation on pre-pack administrations, which is open until 24 June, the IPA will be hosting a pre-pack debate to help inform opinion on this subject ahead of the submission deadline. We will looking at what are the real concerns, and how might they be best addressed?

At an Extraordinary General Meeting of members on 12 November 2009, the IPA membership unanimously supported a resolution to remove Council members from its regulatory and disciplinary committees, thereby separating the rule making functions of Council from the decision making operational activities undertaken by the Investigation, Disciplinary, Membership & Authorisation, and Appeal committees.

The IVA Forum’s Straightforward Consumer IVA Protocol became available for use from 1 February 2008. We would be grateful to receive feedback on how the Protocol is functioning, particularly creditors’ reactions to Protocol-compliant IVA Proposals, so that this can be reviewed at the next IVA Standing Committee Meeting in May 2008.
